Trichocereus
tulhuayacensis Ochoa

Ochoa
[Authentic tulhuayacensis]
[Suspected
tulhuayacensis at BR's photopoint site]
KK337 is
claimed to be tulhuayensis Ochoa by Karel Knize.
His 1999 cutting list listed it as such; "from Cuzco, Huachac, 3200m"
However, his 2000 shipment to us contained 2 quite different plants that were
designated KK337 on his invoice. (The rest of the KK337 present were
unlabeled and unordered)
(There were possibly 3 in the shipment but we suspect the presence of an extraneous
label in the third case as the number range on the label did not mesh with the
number range on the invoice)
All three were accompanied by handwritten labels stating "T. peruvianus"
or "Trich peruvianus"
We assigned these clone numbers B13
& D17a
[& D17b for the third]
tulhuayacensis
var. [KK338: Huancayo, Peru 3000m]
[KK338 is also sold by Knize as peruvianus forma Huancayo:
See peruvianus variety page]
